I grew up as an only child, so things got way boring a lot of the time. My mom worked a lot and I was often left with babysitters or alone as I got older.
When she WAS home, she was pretty tired, so life was just pretty boring all the way around growing up. I learned to do things by myself, play by myself as a kid, and do crafts, games, etc. all by myself.
But before you go feeling sorry for me, definitely don’t!
I learned to be independent. 💪
I learned to think outside the box.
I learned to be more creative.
I learned that I ENJOYED a peaceful life, not full of drama, and if I had to pick it, I’d choose it all over again…being an only child.
It was great! 💯 I feel like it made me the person I am today…marching to the beat of my OWN drum! 🥰
