When you think of cooking in a cast-iron skillet pan, cookies probably are not the first thing that come to mind. But, this Skillet Cookie will change that!
This is an easy and great alternative to a traditional birthday cake for your next party!
Skillet Cookie Recipe
Ingredients:
- ¼ Cup butter
- 1 Cup sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tsp vanilla extract
- 1 Cup flour
- ½ Cup chocolate chips
- 1 Scoop vanilla ice cream
Directions:
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F.
Step 2: In a large bowl add the butter and sugar, beat until smooth.
Step 3: Mix in the egg, vanilla, and flour.
Step 4: Add the chocolate chips and combine.
Step 5: Spray the skillet with cooking spray and pour the batter into the iron skillet. If you are only making it for one or for two, you can reduce the amount of each ingredient and use a smaller skillet or mini skillet.
Step 6: Take to the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 7: Remove from the oven. Serve with the ice cream and enjoy.

I would just use whichever size you already have on hand. 🙂 Just be sure to adjust the time in the oven to reflect the size of the skillet.
