Everyone loves chocolate, am I right? Here’s a non-traditional spin on chocolate pie paired with 3 types of berries. This Chocolate Berry Pie is sure to make ANYONE’S day!
Open Faced Chocolate Berry Pie Recipe
- 2 Cups flour
- 2 Tbsps sugar
- ½ Cup cold butter
- ¼ Cup cold water
- 1 Cup melted chocolate
- ½ Cup raspberries
- ½ Cup blackberries
- ½ Cup blueberries
- Sugar glaze
- Whipped cream
- Grated chocolate
Chocolate Berry Pie
Ingredients
- 2 Cups flour
- 2 Tbsps sugar
- ½ Cup cold butter
- ¼ Cup cold water
- For the filling:
- 1 Cup melted chocolate
- ½ Cup raspberries
- ½ Cup blackberries
- ½ Cup blueberries
- For topping:
- Sugar glaze
- Whipped cream
- Grated chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease and flour a pie tin
- In a food processor add all the crust ingredients and pulse until thick.
- Transfer to the pie tin and press it.
- Take to the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and pour the melted chocolate over the crust.
- Add the berries and top with some sugar glaze.
- Take to the oven and bake for 25 minutes
- Remove from the oven and set aside to cool down before garnishing
- Top with the whipped cream, and grated chocolate.
