Bread pudding is a really yummy dessert, and this Salted Caramel Bread Pudding is definitely delicious.
This would also make a great breakfast as a great spin on tasty “french toast”!
Best Salted Caramel Bread Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 Eggs
- ½ Cup buttermilk
- ¼ Cup sugar
- 4 Bread slices – regular, brioche bread, sourdough bread etc
- 1/4 Cup salted caramel sauce
- 1 Tsp salt
Directions:
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 F.
Step 2: In a bowl beat in the eggs and incorporate the buttermilk, salt, and sugar. Mix well until uniform.
Step 3: Cut the bread into small cubes and add to the egg mixture.
Step 4: Pour the mix into a baking dish.
Step 5: Top with the salted caramel sauce. Set aside for 20-30 minutes.
Step 6: Place in the oven until golden (about 40 minutes).
Step 7: Remove from the heat and place it at room temperature to cool down. Serve with more salted caramel sauce (or chocolate sauce) and enjoy.
