Bread pudding is a really yummy dessert, and this Salted Caramel Bread Pudding is definitely delicious. This would also make a great breakfast as a great spin on "french toast"!

Salted Caramel Bread Pudding

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Eggs
  • ½ Cup buttermilk
  • ¼ Cup sugar
  • 4 Bread slices
  • 1/4 Cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1 Tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. In a bowl beat in the eggs and incorporate the buttermilk, salt, and sugar.
  3. Mix well until uniform.
  4. Cut the bread into small cubes and add to the egg mixture.
  5. Pour the mix into a baking dish.
  6. Top with the salted caramel sauce.
  7. Set aside for 20-30 minutes.
  8. Place in the oven until golden (about 40 minutes).
  9. Remove from the heat and place it at room temperature to cool down.
  10. Serve with more salted caramel sauce and enjoy.
