I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I always try to create the practice worksheets using words or phrases that are encouraging to your heart and lift you up! Things that you could immediately use to send someone an encouraging note or create a cute sign to lift THEM up as well. 🥰
I always want what I create to be usable and add something good to your life. That’s my passion and one of the reasons that this worksheet is an amazing reminder.

Printable Calligraphy Practice Sheet – You Are The Best
I know some of the best people who are always doing the sweetest things for others. But when you talk to them about it they always deflect and try to play it down.
Do you know why? No matter how greatly we perceive some people, and they probably live up to that perception, THEY don’t see themselves that way.
It may come from years of negative reinforcement where those who were supposed to love and encourage you let you know how unworthy you are.
It may come from you comparing what you do to those around you and feeling like you don’t measure up (this is not a contest, by the way. All people have individual talents and callings and comparing yourself to others is like comparing apples and elephants…NEVER a true comparison).
There’s a really amazing saying that I just LOVE SO much that goes like this…
“The reason why some people are so kind is because the world has been so unkind to them that they don’t want other people to feel the way they did.”
I feel like it hits the nail right on the head for me. I’ve been treated SO unkindly. Unloved and rejected by those closest to me who SHOULD HAVE loved me. And maybe you feel like that too.
But I tell you, the more kindness, positivity, and cheer you spread around you, the happier YOU are. 🤩
The way someone’s face lights up when you SEE them when everyone else is passing them by, not taking the time to notice them, but you do, just makes my DAY! I LOVE that!!!
Whatever may have gotten you to believing that you’re “less than” or not enough, I’m here to tell you that is NOT the way GOD sees you.
Do you want to know who you are in Christ?
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” I Peter 2:9.
A CHOSEN race (the human race), a chosen generation…CHOSEN. Oh how I love that word! And I’m also awed by it.
How could God, the creator of the universe, choose me?! Because He sees me as all of the things listed in this verse: royal, holy, special. And He has called me into HIS marvelous light – out of darkness.
And why does He see me this way? Ephesians 2:10 tells us that, “we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
He created me to be royal, holy, and special. His plan and a plan that was prepared “beforehand”.
Before you were ever born!!
So as you practice this calligraphy worksheet, say this phrase to yourself and believe it because God thinks “you are the best”!
There’s no competition with Him. We don’t have to fight our brothers and sisters in Christ for “daddy’s attention”. He gives lovingly to ALL who come to Him. YOU…ARE the best! We all are.
There’s no favoritism, no special love because we do xyz or have this or have that. He loves us ALL equally. That means, the one struggling in their sin to the mega saint, He loves us ALL with equal attention, love, and grace! And in that, there’s hope FOR us all!
You are God’s chosen.
You are the best. To Him. And what HE thinks of you, the One who MADE YOU, matters MORE than what the world should think of us!
Really wrap your mind around that as you hand letter this saying. Know how special and uniquely created you are and how MUCH the Father loves you!!! 😍
