Never underestimate the power of kids just LOOKING at ABC letters to learn the alphabet! 💯
I remember when my daughter was a toddler, around 18 months old, I had her play with an alphabet puzzle. It was brand new to her, first time, and I took the puzzle out of the box for her to play with to start homeschooling and teaching her the alphabet. I turned around for a minute to do something, I forgot what now, and when I turned back around, she had the letters spelled out to say her name!
Gotta admit. At first I thought someone was playing a joke on me. Till I realized no one else was home and my son, who was just an infant at the time, was napping upstairs.
It was really eerie!
I asked her if she did that and she just grinned at me real big. So proud.
I, still, to this day, am shocked she was able to do that at such a young age. When did she ever even SEE her name somewhere enough to know it?! I mean, it was incredible. That was the first day I realized how smart kids are and how they pick up a lot more than we realize!
My best advice to all parents is to start training them early. You think 4 years old is a good time to start preschool, but really, they can start learning little things way earlier than you’d think!

Ways To Use These Educational Coloring Printables
You can print these bubble letter coloring pages and use them in so many easy ways.
- Set them out with crayons during homeschool
- Use them as a calm activity before lessons start
- Add them to a classroom coloring station
- Have them point to letters they recognize before they color them
- and…
Turn It Into A Name Letter Activity
A really cute way to use these alphabet pages is to have kids find the letters in their own name first.
On the fuller page, they can color every letter in their name one color, then go back and color the rest however they want. It makes the page feel more personal and helps with letter recognition in a really natural way.
Put The Letters In Order
Have the kids cut out the letters from the first printable (the one with the bigger letters) with safety scissors and have them put all the letters in order from A to Z. This not only helps with fine motor skills, hand strength, and hand-eye coordination, but also builds alphabet recognition, sequencing skills, and early reading readiness (!) all in one easy no-prep craft.
Vowel Hunt Fun
Turn this coloring page into a playful vowel hunt by having kids find every A, E, I, O, and U, then color the background circles around each one so those special letters really pop. It’s such a fun way to help kids notice vowels faster while keeping the page cute, hands-on, and extra engaging.
• Other printables are either functional OR cute. I bridge the gap between the two. Since I'm a single mom and don't have time to mess around and am a kid at heart, I love something that actually propels me forward and gets the job done quickly, while still having that super cute vibe I'm known for.
• I'm a graphic designer FIRST. This means my printables, whether free or paid for, will always be of the highest quality and print crisp and clear on any printer.
• I love what I do and I do the work myself. I'm not hiring these out. This is my life, my hobby, my passion, my heart.
• My fans are obsessed with my work. To date, I've made over $23M on printables alone (organically) in the past 8 years.
