I was wanting to create a Groundhog Day I-Spy game for you and then I had this brilliant idea to make it more of a whole set! 💎
The first free printable Groundhog Day I-Spy is a prediction sheet. Kids can color in the flower or the snowflake to vote for what they think will happen on Groundhog’s Day. Will the Groundhog show his shadow or not? Will it be winter or spring?
You could even turn it into a classroom game where you have the kids vote and then turn in their coloring sheets and wait to see what happens. If you tally votes as a class, it’s a great, quick graphing moment! 😊
Once you find out if it’ll be winter or spring, you can give the winners something small as a prize like a free coloring bookmark and a couple pieces of candy.
Then have the kids color in whichever Groundhog Day I-Spy printable won- spring or winter (shadow or no shadow), as a secondary classroom activity on/after February 2.
