Several years ago, I invested in the Zyto Compass Bio-Scanner. I realized very quickly that everyone’s chemical makeup and structure is entirely different, so one product that works wonders for me, may not work as well as another product for you, and vise versa. In our sleep patterns, my son is very much a Lavender man, yet Lavender doesn’t seem to do much for me. Now, Vetiver, on the other hand, puts me right to sleep, and yet again, my daughter uses Lavender and it does nothing for her. Same family, different oils to accomplish the same thing.
After receiving my Compass scanner, I was excited to try it. I scanned our family members so many times. The kids loved it. It’s basically a mouse you put your hand on and it reads your body. The biosurvey results can pick up what your body is nutritionally deficient in; it can even pick up your emotions!!! This is especially helpful with children who can’t recognize emotions, especially ones that have gone through trauma.
What I love most about essential oils is that they do have that emotional side to them. I have seen this more and more in myself as I get older, and deal with different stages of life. What’s cool is that there is a book specifically for emotions that features each oil and tells what it does. Over the past year, in dealing with emotional trauma for both me and my children due to my husband abandoning our family, this has been most helpful. The scanner will pick it up right away, and I can deal with it, and go on with life.
Zyto Compass Biocommunication Scanner Review
Here’s how the scanner works.
Another thing I really love about the Zyto scanner is that I have had to visit the doctor much, much, much less these past few years because it’s like I have my own personal (and ACCURATE) doctor right here in my home. Let’s say your blood pressure is high, the scanner will pick it up (it’ll tell you what oil to take for it), and you can take care of it naturally. Or let’s say your cholesterol is high, it’ll pick up things like that too. You’ll know because of the oil that pops up. Whatever it is in your body that is off balance, it’ll pick it up. Then you just simply research the products that pop up to discern WHY your body is out of balance and begin taking them until your body is back in alignment.
Sometimes, when my head hurts, I like to use the scanner. There are several oils that help my head, but in time, it seems like my body is trying to tell me something. It’s saying “look, I need THIS product, and I’m going to get your attention.” It’s amazing having this service right at my finger tips any time I want.
Thirdly, I wouldn’t be without my Zyto scanner because I get the opportunity to help others. I love to rent booths at health fairs and show people this amazing and cool toy. 🙂 My friends and family also benefit from this. I am able to help people on a level that I wouldn’t be able to without it, and isn’t that the whole point of being a godly person? To be an encouragement to others and help others as you come across their paths?
There are 115 video’s currently on the Zyto Compass YouTube site. It is simply amazing how many people this scanner has helped, and there is so much scientific data proving how and why this works. Truly we live in a blessed era to have access to such amazing technology!
Never have I been more healthy, feel more alive, have more energy, feel more balanced, and I accredit that to using natural forms of healthcare and in having my own personal ‘doctor’ in my home, my Zyto Compass.

I am getting my scanner on Thursday! Glad the doctor is coming to live with us!
Sarah says
So excited for you! 🙂 It has replaced the doctor in our home many times! There’s never been a second in the years that I’ve had it, that I have been sorry I got it. You’ll love it!

How do you know how much of each oil to use and how to use them? Thanks so much.
Ellie
Sarah says
Great question Ellie. Here’s a post on how to use them. You just want to use one drop generally. In order to really accurately know how to use them, when, where, how much, etc. in detail for each oil and for each ailment, you want to get the Modern Essentials book. Here’s a link to a video of an inside look into the book. I have that one and the emotions book that I really love to use. 🙂

Sarah, I’m considering sharing my zyto scanner at a trade show. How do you go about it, when you do this? Do you charge for a scan in this environment? Is it very time consuming, if people aren’t familiar with essential oils at all, to then do some of the research with them? Or what do you actually offer in this setting? Just wondering how to proceed. Thanks!
Sarah Titus says
I do charge a $5-10 per person fee at trade shows or at any events. If you find no one is biting, you can start doing raffles to give away free scans. Usually they do really well at events like that and it’s good money. Be sure to bring a back up supply for power to your laptop! I make a sign that says something like, “Scan your body to see what nutrients you need,” or something like that. This usually captures a lot of attention. If they don’t know about oils, they usually want to after you show them the results of what they need and why. You’re able to tell someone they are depressed, etc. and once they see that you know what you’re talking about (using the ME book and emotions book – have them read their sections of the oils they need), they usually believe. If they still don’t, nothing will make them believe and that’s okay.
LeeAnn says
What product line do you use?? I’m having a very hard time deciding on doterra or YL
Sarah Titus says
I personally use doTerra, but there are pro’s and con’s to both of the companies you mentioned. DoTerra’s OILS are good, but their other products have chemicals in them. Shampoo’s, body washes, hand sanitizer, etc. So I don’t use their other products, just the oils. Another good company (and more cost effective, but I don’t know if they are on the scanner or not), is Plant Therapy. Their oils to me, don’t seem as “potent”, so I assume they are more “watered down” but they are still good. One of my nurse friends tested YL oils professionally (as her own personal study) and they had chemicals in them. So for oils, you might stick with doTerra and Plant Therapy, but for other products, I wouldn’t go with doTerra if you want chemical-free. All of this is just my own personal information and everyone has different experiences/opinions. Definitely not my intention to spark a debate as others come along and see this comment. Just sharing my honest opinion of my own experience over the last 7-8ish years. 🙂

Thanks so much for you response…..it’s very helpful!

Could you tell me where I can find the ME book and the Emotions book you mentioned above for the zyto scanner?
Sarah Titus says
Absolutely. The Modern Essentials book is here and the emotions book is here.
Shianne Hayden says
Do the results tell you how to use the oils that are recommended? Like topically, aromatically, etc? I’m thinking for my kids I prefer topically, will that give that suggestion?
Sarah Titus says
Great question. It won’t, it just tells you the products that you need. Generally, you would learn HOW to use the oils in the Modern Essentials book. It has a chart in the back of the book to show you all the oils and how you can use them. It will also give all that information throughout the book. Definitely a must have. The Emotions book is also great to have on hand, because the Zyto scanner WILL pick up emotions!
Kim says
I have looked at the scanner and it says you have to pay a $39.95 fee per month. Do you do this? Trying to justify the cost of the scanner but then the monthly fee is a bit much…
Sarah Titus says
Great question Kim. Yes, it does have a monthly cost. For me, I just look at it like monthly insurance, since I rarely ever have to visit the doctor because I have the scanner. 🙂
Prudy says
What computer do you use? My laptop is older and bulky and looking for something more convenient to use with my scanner. Thank you for your information and I agree how amazing the scanner is.
Sarah Titus says
I have a Toshiba Satellite that’s been very good to me.

I am interested in purchasing a Zyto Scanner and was wanting any additional info you may have. I am wanting to use it for my family and my doTERRA customers. You mentioned renting a booth? Could this help as a source of income? So glad you and your family have had a healthy and happy experience with Zyto Scan!
Sarah Titus says
I love my Zyto Scanner! I’ve had it for 4 years now, I think! 🙂 Yes, renting a booth can help cover costs or taking it to anyone else’s classes and being available for scans helps as well. I’ve charged $10 per scan and since you’re not selling oils, it’s a team effort, so you’re not stepping on any toes of whoever the presenter is for the class (and you can come toward the end of the class too). You’re just providing a service and most people will scan, so it can turn into good income if you go to the classes, etc. 🙂
Gayle says
This won’t let me see the video. I signed in to you tube but it says it is private. I have done the zyto scan before but wanted to see the presentation and share it with a friend who is a skeptic.
Sarah Titus says
I’m sorry the video is not working at the moment Gayle. It’s by the Zyto corporation, so not sure why it’s set to private, but I will contact them to find out. Thanks for letting me know. 🙂
Deb says
I am so intrigued!!! If the scanner is indeed accurate, well… Oh, the possibilities!! What an insightful tool.
Sarah Titus says
I’ve scanned almost 600 times over the course of 5-6 years of using it, and it’s only been wrong twice. 🙂 I am AH-mazed at our technology today. That a mouse you put your hand on can read your body’s deficiency’s and emotions. It’s insane! Highly recommend it. It has saved me SO much money over the years on doctors visits alone!!!
Victoria Matl says
How much does it cost to buy one and where do you buy it?
Sarah Titus says
Victoria, you can purchase one here. They are fantastic. I’ve had mine for about 6-7 years now. Love it! 🙂
Shiela Mahmutspahic says
I’m wondering about the software (Compass) – do you need to be affiliated with any companies or can anyone use this scanner and software?
This gives you a printout of specific supplements, and oils that could benefit individuals?
Sarah Titus says
Shiela, you don’t have to be affiliated with any company, however, it scans it’s product preferences based on the company you select. Here’s the list of companies it’ll scan for doTERRA, Malaleuca, Young Living, Herbalife, REDNATURA, Revii Inc., Shaklee, Solle Naturals, USANA, VEO Natural, Waiora USA, Xyngular, Youngevity, 4Life, Advocare, Ameo / Zija Int’l, Arbonne, Be Young, Eniva Health, Forever Green, Forever Living, Herbax, Isagenix, Nature’s Sunshine, New Sun, Nzuri, Oxynet, PBW Health, PHM Life, Purium.
Yes, it gives you a printout of what specific oils and supplements your body needs at the time you scan. I have saved SO much money in doctors costs because I’ve been able to scan and pinpoint exactly what’s wrong.
I looked at the site to get the list of companies and right now, it’s 50% off. I can’t believe that! Wow. I’ve had mine 6-7 years now and I’ve never seen it on sale…EVER! Much less 50%. Wow. That’s awesome!!!
