In my favorite movie series of all time, the 10th Kingdom, there’s a scene where the main characters are running for their lives from a bad man who intends to kill them.
They stop in the forest at a little cottage and start a fire to dry the girl’s hair.
The wolf warns Virginia that the fire could attract attention from the man seeking their life.
Her response is, “I don’t care. I’m not going to bed with wet hair.”
In the movie, she’s willing to be caught and killed so that her hair is dry. It’s that important to her.
What are you willing to die for?
Christ died for us.
He chose to go to the cross for us, to pay for our sins.
Would we also die for Him?
Every day that you wake up, do you awake with a complete understanding and desire of mortifying your flesh to live as your Creator wants you to live?
Do you wake up knowing WHO you’re living for?
Sometimes we can forget.
Life gets busy and we just don’t remember what we’re living for. WHO we’re living for. What our main goal and purpose is in this life.
