Thank you for sharing. My son will be three this July and so far he has not shown one bit of interest in the potty, except to use it as a toy. He sits on it for a few minutes, then takes it apart. He still doesn’t care if his diaper is full and even hates to be taken away from play to have it changed. My dr. said not to push the issue and even a speech therapist who evaluated him said she didn’t train her kids until they were almost 4. They say girls do better than boys, I have one of each, so I guess we’ll see. I think this is something that will naturally come to all kids at their own pace, so I won’t worry too much. Everything else has come as it has supposed to, his language, speech, feeding, etc. I don’t think potty training is any different.
