Get Crafty
Once your kids have practiced drawing their bees, instead of coloring them in, they could use craft materials to turn them into diamante art! That would be soooo pretty! Or they could use sequins, tissue paper, or any of their favorite materials they like to work with!
Create Lunch Box Notes
Kids love receiving little notes in their lunch box, and these bee designs would be perfect for adding a cute message for them. You can use bee puns like ‘bee kind’, ‘bee-hive yourself’, or a general ‘I love you’ or ‘I’m proud of you’ message, whatever you think would make your kids smile!
Save the Bees
Have a fun family evening drawing bees and discussing the importance of protecting bees and bee conservation. I don’t think everyone realizes how important bees are to our world and our food supply. If we teach our kids about pollination and how much work the bees do for us, we’ll raise them with appreciation for bees and why we need to do our part!
