When I was a little girl, I LOVED places like Hello Kitty there in California. It’s this cute stationary store with lots of cool stuff. I really loved school (it was a way to get away from my mom) and so school supplies were awesome.
But the first time I went to a Christian bookstore, wow, I was in love. They had cool pencils, paper, all the school supplies my little heart could fathom.
There was one thing that really caught my eye, something I remember to this day (mostly, because I still have them, believe it or not). It’s a notepad of stickers and on the stickers it simply says: F.R.O.G.
Fully Rely On God.
I never got that message out of my head. It’s a jewel I tucked away in my heart since then. It became so important to me and I never forgot it.
Fully rely on our Lord Jesus Christ. Trust Him, let His love wash over you. Love Him, find comfort in Him. It just meant so much to me.

What Is A Christian Acrostic?
A Christian acrostic is a word, phrase, or letter pattern that helps you to remember biblical truths. Many modern Christian acrostics are really acronyms, like FROG for Fully Rely On God or WWJD for What Would Jesus Do. The Bible also uses alphabetic acrostics, especially in Hebrew poetry. Psalm 119 is one of the best-known examples of this, with sections built around the Hebrew alphabet! Other Old Testament acrostics appear in Psalms, Proverbs 31:10-31, and Lamentations.
What’s the difference between a Christian acronym and a Christian acrostic?
A Christian acronym usually uses the first letter of each word to create a short reminder, like FROG for Fully Rely On God. A Christian acrostic often uses the letters of a word vertically to build a phrase, poem, or memory tool.
What are Christian acrostics used for?
Christian acrostics can be used for Bible study, prayer prompts, Scripture memory, Sunday school lessons, homeschool devotionals, Bible journaling, and faith-based encouragement.
What is a Bible acrostic?
A Bible acrostic is a poetic structure where lines or sections begin with letters in order, often following the Hebrew alphabet. Psalm 119 is one of the clearest examples of a Bible acrostic.
What are the best Christian acronyms for kids?
Simple acronyms like JOY, PRAY, BIBLE, FROG, WWJD, HOPE, and FAITH are easy for kids to remember and can be used in Sunday school, homeschool, and family devotion time. 💖
