It is REALLY hard to have joy when you’re going through some of the worst trials you’ve ever experienced in your whole entire life. 💯
When you’re down on your knees, just begging God to get you out of the situation you’re in.
You’re struggling, you feel helpless, like there’s no hope at all. Like you’ll never make it through the situation and unless God does something in the situation, you may not be able to find your way out of it at all. 😬
I was in a situation like that recently.
Just bombarded with a trial.
Someone in my life was mocking me, belittling me, trying so hard to manipulate her way into getting her way, super selfish, and attacking me for things I could not control at all. Calling me all sorts of bad things, telling me I’m a bad person because I want to do the legal thing and not break rules. Like…WHAT?! 🤨
Come to think of it, I had TWO of those situations in the past few months! 😖
And you know what?!
In BOTH situations, God handled it. God got the people away from me. When it looked hopeless and like there was no way out. It WAS imposible for me UNLESS He stepped in and did something…and He did! 🎉
I’m so beyond happy to be free of those people who meant me harm and I’m joyful that God did all that! He helped me through. When I was stuck, He stepped in and saved the day like a true hero!!! 🙌
When we’re going through something tough, we can STILL be joyful. Not happy about the situation itself, but joyful in knowing we have a Father, a HERO (!) on our side who WILL absolutely vindicate us and help us through whatever it is we’re facing. 💯
The truth is, He already has it planned for you to get out of the heavy circumstance you’re in, it just hasn’t happened yet, and that gives us hope.
It provides us comfort, joy, love, and best of all…PEACE! ❤️
If you’re suffering in something tough, remember, God’s on your side!!!! You will get through this and so, knowing you will, you want to have joy in the midst of it knowing that your Savior will take care of it soon! 🙌

Joy In The Lord Scriptures To Strengthen Your Heart
Christian Joy is not pretending everything’s perfect.
It’s not forcing a smile when your heart feels heavy, and it’s not the shallow happiness the world keeps chasing.
True joy in Christ comes from the Lord. It’s steady. It’s anchored. It’s the kind of joy that can remain even when life feels uncertain, stretched, exhausting, or just plain hard. 💯
Biblical joy, God’s joy, is deeper than a good mood.
It’s the gladness that comes from knowing God is good, God is near, God is faithful, and God is still working, even when our situations don’t feel easy.
The world’s joy rises and falls with comfort, approval, money, success, relationships, and control. But joy in the Lord is rooted in something better: the unchanging character of God. 🙏
That means joy isn’t fragile.
It doesn’t have to disappear the second life gets hard.
When your heart is fixed on Christ, joy becomes a quiet strength inside of you. 🔥
Let’s dive into these Bible verses about joy in hard times…

I often wonder about this verse…sometimes I think to myself, why should I be happy God made another day and I’m stuck here on earth? I want to be in Heaven with GOD! There is no “time” as we know it in Heaven. I’m still processing that idea, but it’s a good thing to really think about and consider. 😊
