Creative Ways To Use This Rainy Day Coloring Page
Sunday School Activity Craft
Print this rain coloring page, cut out the characters, and glue them to popsicle sticks for a cute Bible verse puppet activity when teaching about God’s provision, blessings, patience, or trusting His timing.
You could focus on the rainbows more too: color the rainbows in soft pastel colors and use it as a reminder to little ones that even stormy seasons (lightning bolt at the top of the page) can point back to God’s faithfulness, care, and promises.
Or focus on the rain boots of faith: let kids color the rain boots their favorite colors, then talk about how faith helps us keep walking with Christ even when life feels muddy, wet, or uncertain.
Another good idea is to focus on the flowers: color the flowers and explain how rain helps flowers grow, just like prayer, Scripture, and trust in Jesus Christ help our hearts grow closer to God. Every time we pray, read the Bible, and think about God, it’s watering our relationship with Him. 🥰
Homeschool Bible Lesson: Memory Verse
Pair it with Ezekiel 34:26 and talk about how rain helps things grow (or use as part of a weather unit study), just like God’s blessings help our faith grow, while helping children memorize the Bible verse. You could have them write the verse on the back a few times to, to really cement it in their minds. 💖
With the verse, you can point to the phrase “in their season” from Ezekiel 34:26 and talk about how God’s blessings are never late. Sometimes He sends exactly what we need when our hearts are finally ready to receive it, which can lead into Ecclesiastes 3 also (emphasis on verse 2b).
You could have kids choose one favorite raindrop and write or say one blessing God has given them. It turns the Christian doodle art for kids into a cute gratitude moment without making it feel like extra schoolwork.
Add Blue Puff Paint Raindrops
Use blue puff paint over the raindrops on this umbrella coloring page to give the page a soft rainy-day 3D look while keeping the black outlines bold.
Create A Spring Bulletin Board
Print several copies of the cute frog and duck coloring page and let everyone color their own version, then display them together under a title like “God Sends Blessings In Season.”
Story Time
Pick the cute little snail, frog, bunny, or bear and write a fun story about their puddle adventures on the back of the free printable coloring page.

• Other printables are either functional OR cute. I bridge the gap between the two. Since I'm a single mom and don't have time to mess around and am a kid at heart, I love something that actually propels me forward and gets the job done quickly, while still having that super cute vibe I'm known for.
• I'm a graphic designer FIRST. This means my printables, whether free or paid for, will always be of the highest quality and print crisp and clear on any printer.
• I love what I do and I do the work myself. I'm not hiring these out. This is my life, my hobby, my passion, my heart.
• My fans are obsessed with my work. To date, I've made over $23M on printables alone (organically) in the past 8 years.
Yes! Except for some large binders, all printables on the blog are 100% free for personal use. I make these because I genuinely want you to have something cute and helpful right now without having to spend a dime. You deserve a life that feels more peaceful, more organized, and more you, and if a simple printable can make your day feel lighter, I am so happy to give that to you.

Absolutely! You're welcome to print as many copies as you need for your own students or church groups. I only ask that you do not edit them in any way (leaving the full copyright line in tact) or sell them or host the digital files on other websites. • For best results, I recommend using standard 8.5"x11" white paper. Since these are professionally designed as high-resolution PDFs, they'll stay crisp and clear on any printer. To print, simply download the PDF to your device and open your printer settings. Select "Fit to Page" to ensure the printable looks perfect.
