Brownie Marshmallow Trifle

Ingredients
  

  • For the brownie:
  • ¼ Cup butter
  • ½ Cup melted chocolate
  • ¼ Cup cocoa powder
  • ¾ Cup flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Tsp vanilla
  • ¾ Cup sugar
  • ½ Tsp salt
  • For the marshmallow:
  • 2 Cups marshmallows
  • For the chocolate sauce:
  • ½ Cup chopped chocolate
  • ¼ Cup heavy cream
  • 1 Tsp vanilla
  • Chocolate shavings

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a bowl mix the butter, melted chocolate and cocoa powder. Add the vanilla, salt and eggs and slowly incorporate the sugar.
  3. Add the flour in 3 additions mixing until everything is well incorporated.
  4. Pour the batter into the cake pan and take to the oven bake for 15 minutes or until done.
  5. Let it cool and break into big crumbs
Make the marshmallow fluff:
  1. Place all the marshmallows into a small bowl. Take to the microwave and melt in 20-second intervals. Mix until shiny and melted.
  2. Make the chocolate sauce
  3. In a bowl add all the ingredients. Take to the microwave and melt in 20-second intervals. Mix and repeat until everything is melted and incorporated.
  4. Assembly: Layer a small bowl or short glass with big brownie crumbs. Add chocolate sauce and a layer or marshmallow fluff. Repeat the process until the glass is full.
  5. Top with chocolate shavings. Serve and enjoy.
