I’ve lived rich on what the world calls poverty. According to them, I should be living in a cardboard box! The truth of the matter is that I don’t. I live in THE most expensive subdivision in our area. I have no debt, beautiful children, and I make my money from home.
Everyone’s idea of the term “rich” is different, but if you ask me, as a single stay-at-home-mom, I’m there.
Parenting.com picked up my story and you can read the full article here. You can also see how I paid cash for my car on a $18k/year budget as I continue to live a debt-free life on one income over on Money Saving Mom.
If you want to stay home with your kids and learn how to live on one income, check out my free eBook, “How to Quit Your Day Job and Stay Home,” where I go into details, including real numbers. I may not be re-inventing the wheel, but I promise you will look at things in a completely different way after reading that book! You will see how it actually makes MORE sense, financially, to stay home than it is to have two working parents!
