I hope you’re enjoying the how to draw tutorials I’m creating as much as I love creating them. This how to draw: rocket will get your creativity flying!! 😁
How to Draw: Rocket
While all of the “how to draw” pages can be used just to learn how to draw, there’s so many other things you can do with them too!!! Like…
Make party invitations
Use these designs to create cute party invitations. With a theme like “Blast off for Fun” or “Let’s celebrate the Rocket Boy or Girl” these drawings would work perfectly.
If you’re having an outer space theme birthday party or even VBS at your church, this could be one of the activities the kids do! So much fun!
Cupcake toppers
If you’ve created your invitations using the rocket, why not make cupcake toppers? Draw the rockets, color them to match your color theme, glue or tape them to a toothpick and stick them in your cupcakes. This makes for some super cute decor!
Create a new game called “Race to the Moon” (or wherever you want to go)
Start by choosing several different colors that will indicate movement: blue means move forward 1, green means move forward 3, black means move backward 4, etc. Then draw several rockets with different colored circle windows that match the colors you chose for how to move.
Creating the “game board” is as easy as laying out a bunch of squares (cut colored paper or index cards into squares) on your table in a curving design – or circular, or square, or octagon, or maze…get creative!
Everyone playing can grab a small toy or object to be their token. Then start at the beginning of your “board”, draw cards, and move according to the color drawn. It’s exciting to see who gets there first!
Get creative and “blast off” with this fun rocket!
